Contestant Training – Battery-Operated Vehicles

Wabash Ballroom 3, Indiana Convention Center, Level 1

Contestants will receive interactive classroom training on the
latest battery-operated vehicles (BEV) by Nikola. Inspectors will
learn the differences in this new technology from current modes
of power on commercial motor vehicles. Inspectors will also
have the opportunity to provide feedback to industry and CVSA
regarding training issues and suggested inspection procedure
updates.

Contestant Training – Autonomous Driving Systems

Inspectors will receive interactive classroom training on
autonomous driving systems (ADS) technologies by Kodiak, and learn more about ADS and how it is being used on commercial motor vehicles. Inspectors will also have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to industry and CVSA.
