The North American Fatigue Management Program recommends enlisting the support of shippers, receivers and brokers to foster a team approach to drivers’ hours-of-service compliance and improved driver alertness. During this session, we will review fatigue fundamentals, hours-of-service rules and challenges, and fatigue management solutions. We will also go over selected guidelines from the code of ethics established by the Truckload Carriers Association and the National Industrial Transport League that may increase mutual understanding and cooperation.
