The continuing resolution extending federal funding at fiscal 2020 levels is set to expire today, Dec. 11, at midnight. It is unlikely that Congress will successfully pass a full funding package before the deadline. Instead, Congress has turned discussions toward the passage of a continuing resolution that would extend funding at fiscal 2020 levels into next week while negotiations over a funding bill and potential COVID-19 relief package continue.
