NHTSA Requests Comments on MNA Petition for Decision of Inconsequential Noncompliance
On March 29, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)  comments on a petition for decision of inconsequential noncompliance in which Michelin North America Inc. (MNA) has determined that certain Michelin X Works D tires do not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 119, New Pneumatic Tires for Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of More Than 4,536 Kilograms (10,000 Pounds), Specialty Tires and Tires for Motorcycles. Comments are due by April 29.

UCR Requests Nominations to Board of Directors
On March 27, the Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) Plan  nominations of qualified individuals for all five of the motor carrier industry positions for appointment by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to the UCR Plan Board of Directors. The five vacancies have terms which expire on May 31, 2027. Nominations are due by May 10.

NHTSA Requests Comments on DCNA Petition for Decision of Inconsequential Noncompliance
On March 26, NHTSA  comments on a petition for decision of inconsequential noncompliance in which Daimler Coaches North America LLC (DCNA) has determined that certain model year (MY) 2012-2019 Setra S407 and MY 2009-2020 Setra S417 buses do not fully comply with FMVSS No. 101, Controls and Displays. Comments are due by April 25.
