Continuing Resolution Passed to Open Federal Government Until Feb. 15

On Jan. 26, 2019, Congress passed a continuing resolution that allowed the federal government to reopen at current funding levels until Feb. 15 while negotiations continue on border wall funding. A permanent funding bill or another continuing resolution will need to be passed by Feb. 15 for the portions of federal government without approved fiscal 2019 spending bills in place to remain open.
