CVSA will hold its new North American Fatigue Management Program (NAFMP) Train the Trainer Course virtually on Wednesday, Aug. 31. This course is for motor carrier instructors who conduct or expect to conduct fatigue management training for commercial motor vehicle drivers and their families.
This one-day NAFMP course will cover the NAFMP Module 5 (Train the Trainer) and additional updated content. This course will include instruction, presentations, quizzes, individually assigned presentations, prior NAFMP coursework and a post-exam. Prior to attending this training, you must have completed Module 1 (Introduction and Overview) and completed Modules 3 (Driver Education), 4 (Driver Family Education) and 8 (Driver Sleep Disorders Management) with an 80% or higher exam score on the NAFMP eLearning Platform. You may register for this course now and then complete the prerequired NAFMP modules before the registration deadline.
This course WILL NOT cover the NAFMP Modules 2 (Safety Culture and Management Practices), 6 (Shippers and Receivers), 7 (Motor Carrier Sleep Disorders Management), 9 (Driver Scheduling and tools) or 10 (Fatigue Monitoring and Management Technologies).
The deadline for registration is Monday, Aug. 22.
