Industry Roadside Inspection Driver Requirements Course

CVSA will hold an industry roadside inspection course on driver requirements Oct. 24-28 in Omaha, Nebraska. The focus of the training will be on driver-related regulatory roadside requirements and out-of-service conditions.

This course includes information on regulatory definitions, intrastate vs. interstate operations, commercial driver’s license and driver qualification requirements, hazardous materials, hours-of-service rules, annual and trip inspections on commercial motor vehicles, identifying and preventing human trafficking, and the DataQ filing process.

This course is intended to provide industry with the necessary training to better understand the roadside regulatory requirements. The goal of the training is to provide each carrier with the tools and knowledge to achieve compliance with the roadside safety regulations and a better understanding of the relationship between regulatory requirements and out-of-service conditions.
