Purpose
To provide impartial support to CVSA.
Goals
- Provide technical support at the committee level with individuals considered to be experts in a variety of transportation fields.
- Provide a conduit to manufacturers and various experts to assist in deliberation at the committee level.
- Provide data and information intended to keep the organization aware of new technologies and changes taking place in the industry.
- Provide support on membership drives by soliciting new members and providing organizational information to potential new members.
- Provide the balance needed for the rational decision making on industry issues being deliberated by federal/state regulatory members.
- Provide equipment and facilities to test various components and concepts that facilitate highway safety.
